Join us in Celebrating The Gift of Evolution:

"The few complexions we started with are multiplying and changing to help our human race evolve and advance. With art, paint and color let's celebrate our beautiful skin tones!" Samuel Adoquei

First came his vision, then the acclaimed books, and now an international movement! "The Skin Tones Project” has grown from Adoquei’s written works and his mission as an artist and celebrated teacher at major art institutions.

Four Pillars of the Skin Tone Project:

Purpose, Plan, Partnerships, and Portraiture (Past, Present and Future)

The presentation reveals the importance of The Skin Tones Project and the international movement it is inspiring by taking participants on a journey through the history of western art and portraiture to arrive at a humanistic vision for its future. In addition to discussing portraiture as a vehicle for honoring human beauty in its many forms, the speaker will offer practical and technical tools for artists on how to render a range of skin tones in paint.
